New Sluice Terneuzen

In Terneuzen, a lot of work is being carried out on a New Sluice Terneuzen. With a length of 427 meters, a width of 55 meters and a depth of 16.44 meters, the New Sluice becomes one of the largest locks in the world. In terms of dimensions, the Terneuzen lock is comparable to the locks in the Panama Canal, but slightly smaller than the Kieldrecht lock near Antwerp (in use in 2016) and the new sea lock in IJmuiden, which will be completed in early 2022.

    What is GMP + certification?
    Animal feeding companies can switch to Good Manufacturing / Managing Practice. This regulation, better known as the GMP regulation, makes it demonstrable for companies that feeds and ingredients for food meet the legal requirements and extra-legal requirements agreed with chain parties. This scheme is particularly intended for food companies that sell residual products in the animal feed sector.

  • BMNED / GSNED become shareholder in APTS

    All Piles Testing Services (APTS) was launched in January 2012, a cooperation agreement between IFCO and BMNED / GSNED. From this company all kinds of foundation piles are tested through failure tests, fitness and control tests, static as well as dynamic as statnamic.
