CPT's

on land and water

By carrying out one or more CPT's, the soil structure at the location of the project location can be determined in a relatively inexpensive manner and can be compared with what is stated on regional geological and geohydrological maps.

During CPT works inter alia the penetration resistance, local adhesive, water pressure, electrical conductivity, magnetic field and angle of inclination can be recorded. On the basis of the tests carried out and derivations made, a number of soil parameters can be determined which, in turn, are necessary ingredients for various geotechnical calculations to be carried out.

GSNED offers a variety of equipment that can respond to almost any situation, both on land and on or in the water.

Diversity of equipment

Base upon the CPT's that are carried out and derivations made, a number of soil parameters can be determined which, in turn, are necessary ingredients for various geotechnical calculations to be carried out. Performing CPT's is therefore a very important but relatively inexpensive tool for achieving a high-quality geohydrological or soil-mechanical study.

GSNED has a variety of equipment that can be used in almost any situation, both on land and on or in the water.

  • GSNED is GMP+ certified

    What is GMP + certification?
Animal feeding companies can switch to Good Manufacturing / Managing Practice. This regulation, better known as the GMP regulation, makes it demonstrable for companies that feeds and ingredients for food meet the legal requirements and extra-legal requirements agreed with chain parties. This scheme is particularly intended for food companies that sell residual products in the animal feed sector.

  • Rapid Load Test equipment (Pseudo-Static Load Tester)

The bearing capacity of foundation piles can be tested in various ways, namely dynamic, static and pseudo-static. For the latter, GSNED uses an impressive machine, a so-called 'PSLT machine' (pseudo-static load tester).

  • BMNED / GSNED become shareholder in APTS

All Piles Testing Services (APTS) was launched in January 2012, a cooperation agreement between IFCO and BMNED / GSNED. From this company all kinds of foundation piles are tested through failure tests, fitness and control tests, static as well as dynamic as statnamic.
